Chargeasap Flash Pro Ultra Power Bank Lets You Charge Three Laptops at Full Speed Simultaneously
With so many people carrying so many gadgets, power banks are everywhere these days. It’s the easiest way to get a charge any time you need it, after all. Not all power banks are the same, of course. Some offer higher power outputs. Others allow you to charge more devices simultaneously. Some, like MagSafe power banks, offer wireless charging. The Chargeasap Flash Pro Ultra seeks to bring a lot of those specialized functions in a single device.
Equipped with a 275W total output, this power bank has the ability to charge up to three laptops at full speed at the same time. It looks like it has enough capacity to charge all three completely, as well (barring any severe power loss), making this quite the capable power bank for on-the-go users.
The Chargeasap Flash Pro Ultra measures 6.2 x 3.3 x 1.4 inches and weighs 1.3 pounds, so it’s not exactly the kind of power bank that will fit comfortably in your pocket. For that size, though, you get a whopping 25,000 mAh and 90.75 Wh battery, allowing you to get plenty of charges for your devices on the go. It comes with a 140W USB-C slot, a 100W USB-C slot, and a 60W USB-C slot, all of which can be used at the same time for high-speed charging (hence, why it’s capable of charging three laptops at the same time). There’s also a 60W USB-A slot (we don’t know what USB-A devices charge in 60W, but it’s available here), a 15W Qi2 wireless charger, and a smaller wireless charging pad for the Apple Watch and Samsung Watch. Even more impressively, you can use them all at once, so you can have six devices all drawing power from it at the exact same time.
It supports passthrough charging, so you can charge the power bank at home while charging your devices from it at the same time, making it easy to streamline your charging setup. According to the outfit, the power bank can recharge its battery to 80 percent in just 35 minutes and up to 100 percent in 70 minutes, so you only need a little over an hour to get it filled up when going on the road.
The Chargeasap Flash Pro Ultra comes with two OLED screens. The first screen shows battery percentage, running temperature, and estimated charge time remaining, while the second one shows real-time power output in watts and amps for each currently-used port. Basically, you get pretty useful information in real-time. As with all properly-made power banks, it has a built-in thermistor to prevent overheating and extend battery life, while completely meeting all TSA and EASA regulations.
According to the outfit, the power bank uses five 21700 Samsung lithium-ion battery cells, which are rated for 500 charge cycles before going down to 80 percent capacity, so it’s pretty standard for lithium-ion batteries. The enclosure, by the way, is purely plastic (ABS and PC), so there’s no water resistance rating, which means you’ll want to keep this safe and dry inside a bag at all times for the most part.
A Kickstarter campaign is currently running for the Chargeasap Flash Pro Ultra. You can reserve a unit for pledges starting at $179.
